Hi, I’m Jasmine! I'm a therapist at Adaptive Resolutions Counseling Services and I specialize in working with young adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, and self-esteem issues.
My Approach to Therapy
I’m passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to well-being and self-discovery. My approach to therapy is compassionate and supportive, tailored to meet each person's unique needs and experiences.
In our work together, we will take a developmental approach, exploring the roots of your past while also focusing on solutions and the present day. This dual perspective allows us to understand how your past shapes your present and to create actionable steps towards your future.
I integrate a blend of therapeutic techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. This combination helps to achieve a balance of mind and body, fostering deeper healing and a more holistic sense of well-being.
A mind-body approach is central to my practice. By addressing both psychological and physical aspects of your experiences, we can uncover and work through deeply rooted issues, leading to profound and lasting change.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, navigating a life transition, or seeking to understand yourself better, I am here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can create a path to a more balanced, fulfilling life.

My Core Values in Therapy
As a therapist, I prioritize authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and believe that building a genuine connection is crucial for fostering trust and growth necessary for change. I respect your truth and consider you the expert on your experience. Together, we will navigate your unique journey, and your needs will always be a priority. I believe that change is a gradual process, and I invite you to trust the journey as meaningful transformation takes time.
More About Me...
I love helping others and have always had a passion for it. Growing up, I remember spending holidays at food and toy drives, giving to families in need. Over time, my family tradition of giving back blossomed into my career as a mental health therapist, and now I have the opportunity and honor of getting to know people and helping them on a deeper level.
I believe the basis of my work involves building authentic, trusting relationships, which I help cultivate by allowing you to get to know me as well. (In fact, one of the most important factors in treatment success is the therapeutic alliance; or in other words, the relationship between therapist and client).

So here it is! I have lived in California my whole life and am all for the good weather, beaches, and TACOS! I grew up in San Bernardino, California but have lived throughout the Inland Empire. I earned a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University-Dominguez Hills. I've worked with people of all ages (children, adolescents, and adults) in school-, community -, and medical settings -- all of which have been challenging but rewarding in their own way.

When I'm not working with clients, you can find me cozied up in my bed, resting and recharging, eating good food, binge-watching a really good TV show, or spending time with family.

Anyhow, enough about me, I would love to hear more about you!
