THERAPY FOR ANXIETY IN BREA & ONLINE ACROSS CA + AZ
Helping you spiral less & feel more present.
At this point, you’re really not sure who you’d be if you weren’t constantly overthinking everything.
MAYBE YOU ARE…
-
Your mind never seems to shut off—thoughts race, spiral, and keep you on edge even when you’re completely exhausted. Falling asleep is a struggle, and when you finally do, it’s light, restless, and anything but restorative. Sitting still feels almost unbearable, like there’s always something you should or could be doing. Your body and mind are in a constant state of tension, never fully able to rest.
-
Work, family, relationships, and your daily to-do list barely leave you any time to stop and take a breath. From the outside, you seem like you have it all together—reliable, productive, the one others can count on—but inside, you're drained, running on fumes, and unsure how much longer you can keep going at this pace. Slowing down feels impossible—not just because there’s always more to do, but because doing less brings guilt, anxiety, or a fear of falling behind. The weight of it all keeps building, and no matter how much you accomplish, the sense of relief never lasts for long.
-
Lately, small things that wouldn’t have bothered you before feel overwhelming. You catch yourself snapping at people, reacting in ways you later realize were over-the-top, or withdrawing completely, unsure why your emotions feel so ready to bubble over. Maybe you’ve even had moments of tearing up and crying out of nowhere, and aren’t really sure where it’s coming from.

Needing to take things a little slower doesn’t make you less successful or productive.
It may not feel natural at first, but together we can pause to regroup & recenter.
My approach
Let’s slow down and tune into what your anxiety might be trying to tell you.
When we work together, we’ll look at your anxiety from all angles:
How it shows up in your body, the beliefs and emotions that come with it, and the patterns you fall into when it feels overwhelming. We’ll explore what’s coming up for you now along with the early life experiences that shaped you—such as family dynamics, major life events, or the unspoken messages you received about productivity, worth, and how to navigate the world.
This isn’t about digging into the past just to revisit old pain, it’s to help us understand how those pieces connect to the present so you can see your anxiety with fresh eyes and a little more compassion.
Throughout our sessions, I’ll invite you to notice what’s happening in your body, right there in the moment, as we talk. We’ll pay attention to the tension, the tightness, and the ways your nervous system responds—because anxiety isn’t just in your head, it lives in your body, too. Together, we’ll find ways to help your nervous system release some of that pent-up energy, gently unwinding what’s been bound tight for so long. Over time, you can start to recognize the signs of anxiety as they’re happening, learn tools to feel more grounded, and discover that your body holds its own kind of wisdom that you can tap into to stay present.
Imagine a life where…
Slowing down feels natural and you realize that rest doesn’t make you any less successful
You feel more comfortable not knowing the outcome of any given situation, with less pressure to constantly be “on” or in control
Letting go of unrealistic expectations comes easier, and you don’t carry the weight of trying to do it all
You’re more present in the moment and tuned into what you need—not just what you think you should be doing
Your inner voice feels steady and clear, guiding you from a place of self-trust instead of fear
Life doesn’t have to feel so overwhelming—you can feel more steady and at ease.
Let’s connect to your inner resilience & create more calm in your life.

Frequently asked questions
-
Anxiety doesn’t just live in your mind—it shows up in your body, too. You might notice a racing heart, tight chest, tense muscles, upset stomach, or feeling restless and on edge. You may have heard of the “fight or flight” response—these physical manifestations are a result of your nervous system trying to protect you by activating these responses in stressful situations. In therapy, we can help you become more aware of these physical signs, understand what your body is trying to tell you, and find ways to feel more grounded.

An anxiety attack can feel overwhelming, like your body is in overdrive. You might experience a racing heart, shortness of breath, dizziness, chest tightness, or feel like you’re losing control. In therapy, we’ll work on recognizing the early signs, understanding what triggers these feelings, and practicing tools to help you move through them with more ease.

I use a blend of approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, somatic experiencing, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and relational therapy. This means we’ll explore the roots of your anxiety, tune into how it shows up in your body, and practice skills to help you respond to it differently. You can learn more about my approach on my About page, but we’ll always focus on what feels most supportive for you.
