A Space to Slow Down and Be With Yourself
If you’re looking for in-person therapy in Brea, you may be looking for more than a place to talk through your week. Therapy can offer a dedicated space to step away from daily responsibilities, slow things down, and give more attention to turn inward.
I work with adults in Brea and throughout North Orange County who may be navigating anxiety, chronic stress, self-doubt, relationship concerns, or patterns of putting a lot of pressure on themselves. You may spend much of your time thinking about what needs to be done, anticipating what other people need, or pushing through even when you’ve reached your limit, making it harder to recognize what you’re feeling or needing yourself.
My office offers a calm, private space where we can become curious about these patterns, deepen your understanding of yourself, and help you develop greater trust in your own experience within a grounded and attuned therapeutic relationship.
Benefits of in-person therapy
Why Choose In-Person Therapy in Brea?
Sometimes what people are seeking isn’t just therapy—it’s a space that feels separate from everything else they carry.
In-person therapy offers a dedicated space that’s just for you—without the distractions of home, work, or daily responsibilities.
Many clients find that being physically present in the room helps them settle more fully, feel more connected, and engage in deeper emotional work.
This can be especially meaningful if you spend much of your day on screens, carry a lot of responsibility, or simply want therapy to feel more connected and grounded.
my therapeutic approach
Somatic and Depth-Oriented Therapy in Brea
Sometimes, understanding why you do something doesn’t necessarily make it easier to do something different. You may recognize that you’re overthinking, pushing yourself, accommodating someone else, or setting aside what you need and still find yourself responding in the same familiar ways.
My approach is somatic, relational, and depth-oriented, drawing from Somatic Experiencing®, NARM, and psychodynamic therapy. Along with talking about what’s happening in your life, we can explore the experiences and relationships that have shaped how you relate to yourself and others while also paying attention to what happens in your body, emotions, and relationships when familiar patterns show up.
Over time, this work can help you become more familiar with what you feel and need, understand yourself more deeply, and develop greater self-trust and choice in how you respond.
